Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Space Affairs Consultancy for Advanced Research – SACAR Private Limited, operating under the brand SACAR, uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on sacar.world. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
1What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and identifiers used by an embedded service. They may be placed by SACAR (first party) or by a third party whose service is included on the website.
2Technology categories
- Strictly necessary: required for security, page delivery, network management, form integrity and remembering privacy choices. These cannot be switched off through the consent panel, because the website cannot function securely without them.
- Preference: remembers a non-essential choice such as display or language. Used only where needed, and disclosed.
- Analytics: measures use and performance. SACAR runs analytics on every visit rather than offering it as a choice, so it is not covered by the accept or reject controls. It is limited to measurement — there is no advertising, no ad personalisation and no cross-site behavioural tracking.
- Embedded media or marketing: may be set by video, social, scheduling, chat or advertising services. SACAR does not use advertising or cross-site behavioural tracking at launch. Any future use requires prior review, a register update and an appropriate user choice.
3Current technology register
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| sacar_cookie_consent | SACAR | Strictly necessary | Records your cookie choice, the policy version and a timestamp, so that the choice can be honoured and demonstrated. Stored in your browser's local storage; not sent to a server and not used for profiling. | 1 hour | Not required |
| Hosting and delivery | Website hosting and content-delivery provider | Strictly necessary | Serves the pages, balances load and protects the service against abuse. Handled in the request and in server logs rather than by a record written to your device. | Session; logs retained per the Privacy Policy retention schedule | Not required |
| Enquiry form submission | Google LLC (Google Workspace) | Strictly necessary | Delivers an enquiry you choose to submit through the contact form. Nothing is sent unless you submit the form. See the Vendor and Processing Schedule. | Not stored on your device | Not required |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) | Analytics | Measures how the website is used — pages viewed, approximate country and city derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, and the site or search that referred you. Advertising features, Google Signals and cross-site behavioural tracking are switched off. | Up to 2 years | Not offered as a choice |
4Your choices
On your first visit, the website offers equal and clear choices to accept or reject the optional technologies, and a separate preference panel. Rejecting them does not block ordinary access to public content. Analytics is not among the technologies offered as a choice — see clause 2.
A recorded choice stands for one hour, after which the website asks again. Withdrawing consent stops future optional processing; it does not undo processing already lawfully completed.
Browser controls may also delete or block cookies, but blocking necessary technologies may affect security or function.
5Consent record
SACAR stores a necessary record of the consent choice, policy version and timestamp so that the choice can be honoured and demonstrated. The record is not used for unrelated profiling.
6Changes and contact
The cookie register is updated when technologies change. Material additions to optional processing require a renewed choice where appropriate. Questions may be sent to privacy@sacar.world.
